Serving people change the community.

Jesus Christ gave us a fantastic example of what it meant to serve:

…”whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
(Mark 10:43b-45)

As Christians, therefore, we believe that we need to simply follow Jesus’ model for servanthood.  If you stick around FCC long enough you will hear us say things like:

“We give 100 percent.  We serve God not men.  We do whatever it takes.  We are stewards.  We allocate resources as God asks us to.  We reflect God’s sacrificial generosity.”

Serving the Community

Serving is primarily about being a light to the world!  As a community of believers in National City we want to partner with you to make our community and world a redeemed and restored place.  Here are some of the ways that we see this happening every week:

FCC Food Pantry distributions
(weekly on Tuesdays @ 8:30am)

Food Bank distributions
(weekly on Fridays from 9-10:30am)
